On Dec. 10, 2012, the USCIS approved a challenging L-1A case we helped our client to save.
This case was initially filed for the client by another law firm. The attorney who handled the petition, however, was relatively inexperienced in L-1 applications. In the initial filing, she made huge mistakes in document submission. As a result, the client received a long and complicate Request for Additional Evidence from the USCIS.
Having invested over half a million dollars in the US, the client was naturally terrified. They then came to Lin & Valdez to seek our help. It took us tremendous effort to redo the whole case. We guided the client to prepare the response to the RFE which contained two big volumes of documents about over two inches thick. We also wrote a detail explanation to the USCIS to explain the origin of mistake. Our effort paid off, and the case was approved in 5 days after the USCIS received our response.
