Success Story: Immigration Judge Granted Motion to Reopen to Lin & Valdez Client

On December 27, 2012, an immigration judge in California granted a Motion to Reopen we filed for our client.  Over 10 years after our client was ordered to be removed, she will now have an opportunity to get her green card in and through the immigration court.

Our client in this case entered the US more than 10 years ago. Nevertheless, she did not know that soon after she entered the US, a deportation order was entered against her.  She married with her spouse, now a US citizen.  They tried to “fix her papers”, filed green card application to the INS and then were told that she was actually ordered to be deported before.  For the last 7 years, they tried to reopen the matter with two previous attorneys without success.  We, however, were able to secure the consent and cooperation of the government counsel and filed an un-objected Motion to the court.  Our motion was granted at the end of 2012 and our client will now have a chance to get her green card soon.

Attorneys at Lin & Valdez have represented hundreds of aliens in all kinds of proceedings in asylum office and immigration court.  We represent clients in all immigration courts of Texas and Louisiana.  We have also represented clients in immigration courts in Michigan, California, etc.  Our attorneys have also represented clients in various levels of appeal and obtained tremendous success in the appeals.  Please contact us immediately if you need representation in immigration court and in BIA or other appealing proceeding.  As we have always said, the help you need is just a click away!
