On Oct. 7, 2013, an immigration judge after hearing the presentation of our client’s case set a bond for the release of our client.
Our client was from a South American country. The bond case is difficult because the client does not have relatives in the US, and as such the “link”, “connection”, or “nexus” with the US is weak.
Attorney Stewart Lin was retained by the individual’s family and he represented the client in the bond hearing. Mr. Lin eventually successfully secured the grant of bond by the presiding judge.
