On October 17, 2013, an immigration judge granted withholding of removal to a client of Lin & Valdez. Attorney Stewart Lin again is the lead counsel in this matter of long history.
The client in this case entered the US back in 2003. He however did not file the Asylum/Withholding of Removal application until early 2006. Later in the same year he retained our office to change the venue of his case to Houston. In 2007, his case was denied by the immigration court. Attorney Stewart Lin filed appeal to Board of Immigration Appeal for the client. BIA then remanded the case back to the immigration court. After new hearing and brief filing, the immigration court finally issued a positive decision to our client’s application for withholding of removal.
