E-2 Treaty Investor Visa
Success Story: Another E-2 Treaty Investor Visa Granted in 10 Days

On April 3, 2008, we received an E-mail from the USCIS California Service Center notifying us that an E-2 petition we filed for our client on March 24, 2008 was approved.

Our client in this case is a professional chef who has been thinking about opening up his own restaurant. After some market study, he decided to become a 58% shareholder in a restaurant in a small town in the border of New Mexico and Arizona. After having a phone conference with Attorney Stewart Lin, he decided to retain Lin & Valdez to help him realize his dream of opening up his own business in the US. The capital contribution was remitted from his country, and documentation was mailed to our office from New Mexico.

For this case, our client’s investment amount is $70,000.00. With the approval to our client’s E-2 application, his wife will be apply to change her status into E-2 and obtain a working permit.

Like the majority of our E-2 clients, we have yet to have the chance to meet with this client in person. Nevertheless, through the help of telephone, fax, and email, we were able to provide the best instruction and consultation to our client and filed the petition out within two days after we received all the documents from the client. By the time the petition was filed, our client’s B-1 stay has only 3 days left!

Over the years, Lin & Valdez has applied for countless numbers of E-2 cases. The investments our clients made for the applications are in a wide range of businesses, including beauty salon, restaurant, camera shop, doughnut shop, supermarket, gas station, convenience store, trading company, day care, bridal service, professional service, hotel/motel, computer company, franchise store, art gallery, and granite and stone business, etc. We have established ourselves a premier E-2 investment visa practitioner. If you are from one of the E-2 countries and are interested in coming to the US with this flexible visa status, or changing your status to E-2 in the US, please contact us immediately. The help you need is just a click away!
