Eb-1 NIW
Success Story: EB-1 Extraordinary Ability Case Filed on February 14 Approved on May 24

Today we received the approval from the USCIS to an EB-1 extraordinary ability petition we filed for a client in February, 2006.  This is just one of many approvals we have received in the EB-1 Alien of Extraordinary Ability and EB-2 NIW fields over the years.

This petition was filed for an alien working for an international agency in urban planning field.  By working closely with our client, we developed a very strong case and wrote a convincing 10-page single-space petition letter for the petition.  As the result shows, the USCIS was convinced by our presentation and approved the case without asking for any additional document or evidence.

This is just one more example of our expertise in this field.  Although the traditional wisdom believes that it is more difficult to obtain EB-1 approval than NIW, our result was that in the past three years, all the EB-1 cases we filed were approved.  The key to our success is that while we have mastered the argument for NIW and have excelled in that field, we were able to judge whether “upgrading?a petition to EB-1 has an even better chance.  In this specific case, our client opted to filed EB-1, rather than NIW, based on our advice.  Congratulations to his family for the right choice made with Lin & Valdez.
