On March 10, 2010, we received another PERM Labor Certification Approval notice from the Department of Labor for an application we filed for a client for the position of Software Engineer. This case was filed in June of 2009. A similar case we filed for the same position was just approved by the Dept. of Labor on March 8, 2010. This case was not audited by the Department of Labor and was approved without encountering any problem since we had it. Continuing our 100% approval rate and our success in this field, we have helped another client secure the labor certification.
The employer of this case is a computer service company. This is for an EB-2 case as the requirement of this position is for a person with at least a masterís degree. As we have indicated in our previous posting, all of the PERM labor certifications of our clients, audited or not, were approved since the implement of the PERM system. The approval of this case continued our success record in application for labor certification.
Since April and May of 2008, the Department of Labor has heightened the frequency of auditing labor certification cases. As such, compliance with the DOL regulations in the preparation of the cases is a must.
