Sample Success Story: H-1b Approved to a Company with Just One Employee

On May 18, 2011, we received an H-1B approval notice for an H-1B we filed for a small company.  As we receive a big number of approval notices for H-1 applications each year, not all of the approval cases are posted on our website.  However, this approval is unique and worth pointing out.

 

Our client in this case is a small computer company.  The company, other than the owner himself, has only one employee.  However, due to the growth in the company’s business, the company has a need to hire a new computer analyst to handle the newly contracted work.

As the beneficiary employee of this application previously had H-1B with another company and has left the US for less than one year, the petition is not subject to the H-1 quota cap restriction and the employee will be allowed to return to the US immediately.
