Sample Success Story: I-601 Waiver Granted to Our Client

On April 25, 2014, the USCIS granted an I-601 waiver we filed for our client.  The application was filed on Nov. 27, 2013.  With the grant of this waiver, our client will be able to obtain an immigrant visa and green card through the consulate processing.

I-601 waiver is different from I-601A waiver as the latter applies to a person who is presently in the US.  Nevertheless, same in both types of applications, we ask the client to provide us substantial amount of documentation showing the hardship the denial of his admission to the USwill cause to his US citizen family.  Our client is extremely pleased with the happy ending as now he has the chance to come to the US with a green card.
