On Jan. 8, 2018, the USCIS granted another I-601A provisional waiver we filed for our client. The application was received by the USCIS on Sept. 8, 2017, 2017, and was smoothly approved in 4 months without encountering any challenge from the USCIS. With the waiver our client will return to his country and will be able to return to the US with a green card.
To present the I-601A application, we asked the client to provide substantial amount of documentation showing the hardship his departure will cause to his US citizen spouse. Our client is extremely pleased with the happy ending as now he has the chance to leave and then come back to the US with a green card.
