Success Story: Asylum Granted by Court

On Jan. 18, 2017, an immigration judge in Dallas, Texas granted an asylum application to  a Lin & Valdez client.

Our client in this case retained our service and asked Mr. Stewart Lin to travel to Dallas to represent him.  His asylum application was actually previously denied by the court.  We appealed his case to BIA, and had the case remanded to the court.  Eventually, on Jan. 18, 2017, the Judge granted the asylum, and the ICE waived appeal.  The grant of asylum as such became final.  In a year, our client will be able to apply for adjustment of status.
