Success Story: Immigration Judge Granted Asylum to Lin & Valdez Client

On April 1, 2014, an immigration judge issued a lengthy ruling and granted political asylum to a Lin & Valdez client represented by Attorney Stewart Lin.  The judge issued the written decision after hearing the case.

Our client in this case was originally represented by another attorney in
California.  He retained our office after the case was moved to the current venue when the case was pending in court for trial.  Through thorough preparation, Attorney Stewart Lin presented a convincing case to the court, and won the case for the client. This case/petition is based on religious ground.  The court, in granting the asylum, made a long analysis of the argument of our client and that of the government’s, and eventually sided with our position.  Our client, needless to say, is ecstatic about the great outcome.
