Success Story: BIA Sustained Our Appeal and Granted Asylum to Our Client

On June 5, 2014, the Board of Immigration Appeal sustained an appeal our office filed for a client.  Most importantly, the BIA not only overruled the immigration judge’s ruling, but also granted asylum to our client. The case as such is only remanded to the immigration court for the purpose of letting the Dept. of Homeland Security to complete the biographic and security check.

In its detail ruling, the BIA analyzed why it agreed with our argument and presentation, and why it found that our client has met the standard for asylum relief.  Our appeal was filed on Dec. of 2012.  Our client is, needless to say, ecstatic about the outcome.
